INVITATION TO WRITE AN ARTICLE

Greetings Waheshimiwa,

TAWJA is a Professional Association of Women Judges and Magistrates of all levels in the Judiciary of Tanzania. It is formed in 2000. Under the Constitution of TAWJA, the word Judge includes Magistrate. TAWJA is, nonetheless, a voluntary, charitable Organisation so Women Judges are free to join it by paying membership fees. At the moment all the Women Court of Appeal and High Court Justices are TAWJA members. Women Registrars, Resident, District and Primary Court Magistrates have joined the Association in large numbers.

The office bearers of TAWJA comprise of a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, a Secretary and a Treasurer who are elected by members biennially. These Officers Constitute the Executive Committee of the Association.

The Article should delve into:

1. The complexities surrounding early marriage or cyberbullying,

2. Examining their implications, challenges, and potential solutions.

3. SOSPA – Was the purpose achieved? Should we keep it on

4. PROBATE – Sensitive areas in the probate issues which we have not find solutions

We encourage a thoughtful analysis of the intersectionality of these issues, considering the impact on vulnerable populations and the role of the justice system in addressing them.

To ensure uniformity and adherence to our publication standards, we kindly request that you refer to the Guidelines outlined on the TAWJA’s Website www.tawja.or.tz regarding:

1. The format and,
2. Structure of the Article.

Your contribution will not only enrich our understanding but also serve as a catalyst for positive change in our society. We eagerly anticipate the valuable insights you will bring to this discourse.

Please feel free to contact us through ifo@tawja.or.tz or patriciakisinda@arizona.edu should you have any inquiries or require further clarification.
